In London, police arrested a 44-year-old man suspected of stabbing a wheelchair user.
As the Metropolitan Police announced, the alleged perpetrator was caught in west London.
There is a suspicion of murder.
The 87-year-old victim was attacked in west London on Tuesday afternoon.
As the "Guardian" reported, the seriously injured man drove dozens of meters before asking a passer-by for help.
He later succumbed to his injuries.
According to the report, the pensioner was known in the neighborhood.
He is said to have regularly played the accordion in front of a supermarket to raise money for charities such as Ukrainian refugees.
According to the Guardian, it is possible that the 87-year-old was being followed because he was carrying the money he had collected.
Police say thank you for “overwhelming support”
After that, the police published mugshots and asked for help from the public to find the suspect.
After arresting the suspect, the police thanked them for their "overwhelming support" in the manhunt.
