CASERTA - Looking out over the Royal Park in the moonlight, crossing the exhibition halls to be captivated by the suggestions of the works on display, walking through the royal apartments surrounded by the charm of the evening atmosphere.

It is the magic of the Royal Palace of Caserta after sunset, which will be revealed for the last appointment, Friday 19 August, of the initiative "The Nights of Wonder" (you enter from 19.30 to 23.30 with last admission at 22.15).


    For visitors there will also be the opportunity to admire two exhibitions.

In particular, after having crossed the magnificence of the Royal Staircase, the public will be able to visit the first of the two exhibitions, "Fragments of Paradise - Gardens in Time", the exhibition organized by the Royal Palace with Opera Laboratori which collects over 150 performances in the Queen's Apartments. of the gardens over the centuries.


    In the articulation of the sections numerous works are presented, in many cases unpublished, from prestigious Italian and European museums and institutions, as well as from private collections, libraries and other public institutions.

At the end of the exhibition it will be possible to look out from the balcony of the Sala della Vista, and from there enjoy the beauty of the Royal Park illuminated by the moon.


    After leaving the Queen's Rooms, it will be possible to continue in the Palatine Chapel with the exhibition "The Little Prince - Giuseppe Sanmartino at the Royal Palace of Caserta".

The exhibition tells the ceremonial of the births of royalty at the time of the Bourbons, starting with the discovery in the deposits of the Museum of the marble portrait of a life-size newborn by Giuseppe Sanmartino, identified with the Real Infante Carlo Tito di Borbone.

The tour of the Royal Apartments will then open to visitors, with the charm and suggestion of the Court rooms, from the reception rooms to those for the more intimate use of the rulers, ending with the Palatine Library and the Sala del Presepe.
