A two-year-old girl in Turkey's Bingöl province bravely reacted to a snakebite - and simply bit the animal back.
The Turkish newspaper "Yeni Şafak" reports that the child was playing in the garden and was bitten by the snake, which was around 50 centimeters long.
According to the İhlas news agency, a neighbor observed that the girl reflexively bit the snake back.
The neighbor took the snake out of the child's hand and killed the animal.
According to reports, the girl was taken to a hospital, but the child is doing well.
It is not known what kind of snake the child was bitten by.
Child wanted to play with snake
"Allah really protected her," the portal anews.com.tr quotes the girl's father as saying: "Our neighbors told us that the snake was in the child's hand, it played with her and then it bit her." .
The child then bit the snake.
According to İhlas agency, the incident happened on August 8th.
