(ANSA) - MILAN, AUGUST 19 - The price of gas ripped Amsterdam up to a maximum of 262.78 euros per hour (+ 9.04%) while the news that Gazprom will close supplies from Nord Stream, whose flows are already reduced to 20% of the pipeline capacity.
The closing price then settled at € 244.55, after beating a last price of € 257.4 (+ 6.8%).
A trend that suggests, with the opening of the markets on Monday, new rises for the reference index of the European gas price.
