"The immediate danger to the public is considered to be over": Two people were injured by gunshots in a shopping center in the southern Swedish city of Malmo in the afternoon.
A suspect has been arrested, police said.
According to the police, there are many emergency services on site, witnesses are currently being questioned and video recordings are being evaluated.
At this point in time, it can be assumed that the incident is related to the criminal milieu.
Woman is said to be more seriously injured
According to the news channel TV4, around 20 shots were heard and customers fled in panic.
A man and a woman were injured by the shots, the broadcaster reported, citing the Skåne region in which Malmö is located.
The condition of the woman is therefore serious.
Both were admitted to the university hospital in the region.
According to the media report, the arrested person is said to be a young person who is about 15 years old.
There is no confirmation of this information so far.
Even if the danger has been averted, the shopping center should not be entered at the moment, the police said.
It is important not to disturb the police work.
