(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, AUG 19 - A US court sentenced El Shafee Elsheik, 34, a British ISIS militant known as one of the four Beatles of the terrorist group, to life in prison for supporting the Islamist organization and barbarously killing four American hostages, including journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff and co-workers KaylaMueller and Peter Kassig.
The militant, of Sudanese origin, is the highest-profile ISIS one tried in the US.
