Sausage recall extended: Urgent warning – there is a risk of nausea and vomiting

The Federal Office for Consumer Protection is expanding its hazard warning for a turkey onion mettwurst.
Listeria were found again.
Guderhandviertel - The Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety urgently advises consumers against eating the turkey onion mettwurst made by Heinrich Aldag Altländer Fleisch - und Wurstwaren GmbH.
Listeria was again detected in the sausage products during an inspection.
A warning was issued last week against consuming the product with the expiry date of August 10, 2022.
Now the items with the date August 20, 2022, August 25, 2022 and August 30, 2022 in Hamburg and Lower Saxony are also affected by the recall.

Recall extended: threat of nausea, diarrhea and vomiting
In addition to nausea, vomiting or diarrhea after eating affected food, Listeria can also trigger symptoms such as a flu after a longer incubation period.
The health of pregnant women, small children and the immunocompromised is particularly at risk.
Anyone who has eaten this food and develops severe or persistent symptoms should seek medical attention and report possible Listeria infection.
Pregnant women who have eaten this food should seek medical treatment and advice even without symptoms, advises the Federal Office for Consumer Protection on its website.
Recall extended: Cannabis chewing gum causes trouble
