In the colorful mosaic of characters that was cast for the first week of "Come Eat With Me" (which ended last week), Hani Bonbon was responsible for the color pink.

The contestant, who from the first moment stood out in her performance, and became the most intriguing character out of the five, is perhaps the real winner of this week, even if she didn't get the first place in the culinary challenge.

The satirical docu-reality program of Khan 11, which has long since become the tastiest television candy in prime time, knows how to make flavors not necessarily food, and has become a fertile ground for bands in other programs, who seem to be just waiting to see who will come to the table and who can be drawn to their reality show.

Even the contestants themselves know the rules of the game, and there are those who consciously (or not) come there precisely for this exposure, as a springboard for a reality show on the commercial channels.

So did Hani Bonbon use this platform?

"I didn't think about it at all. I have a business, a career, I'm not looking for a new career. But when you approach 60 and start to get bored, I say, 'Come on, let's start playing the game,'" she laughs.

"I've been through so much in my life, so I don't care what I do, it won't bother me if they now offer me to participate in another reality show," she shares in a personal interview with Israel Hayom.

So if tomorrow you get a call from the "Big Brother" production, will you say yes?

"If you had asked me this a year ago, I would have happily stood up and told you, 'Come on now, I have no fear.' The way they talk and express themselves, I don't see myself expressing myself like that. I don't speak like that. Nevertheless, people are watching you, and it really hurts. When I see it, I'm really scared, you don't know how you will flow in such a situation, in what place Be, how they will look at you... that's what scares me. If you told me, 'Park you in 'Big Brother,' there will be a team of older people your age with you, not those who go into corners that are not suitable for television - I would pack up right now."

"Really? I come from art. If you give me a show where they come to houses that have been destroyed and renovate and decorate them, or dress people up - that's what I love, I'm sick of it, like 'the makeover'. That's me. I'm in art. My house is surrounded by art, I Dressing up dolls. But regardless, 'survival' or anything that requires running around or eating animals - not only am I capable, I get through it big time, I have no problem eating cockroaches (laughs)."

"They called me from the production and asked if I wanted to come. I was interviewed on Haifa radio a few months ago about my shop and me, about being colorful, I told what I would like to see in the flea market in Haifa and apparently, following the interview, they reached out to me," she tells how it all started.

"They asked if I would like to come to the audition and I said 'why not, for fun'. That's how it started. It was in Corona, towards the end, and they asked me to do an audition at home, to film myself and start talking. So I took my mobile phone and started introducing myself. I said 'I'm Hani Bat 58, grandmother of six'. They saw and got excited and said they wanted me to come to them in Tel Aviv. I arrived and there were many other people. I was dressed in pink tights and shoes, and a pink tulle skirt. When I arrived they told me, 'You don't need much - you're accepted.'

They didn't even ask you to bring a sample dish?

"I didn't come to cook on a food show. As far as I'm concerned, I came from art, from a completely different place. I like to host, a lot of people come to me, those who come to me don't want to leave, they have fun even if I serve an omelette and a salad. The point is not the food, it's the serving with me, the fun Sitting and talking and being with me. I've been cooking since I was 12. I was orphaned at that age. I've been cooking all my life, even as a child. The personality is not the food. I didn't come to the program because I know how to cook."

Speaking of art, can you understand what the pink thing is?

"It's Hani Bonbon!!!", she laughs, "that's the name of the store. When I opened the store, 20 years ago, I decided it would be pink. This color symbolizes freedom, fun, there's nothing wrong with pink, it's fun when you see this color ".

Which of the participants did you connect with the most?

"I connected the most with Shamri. I'm in touch with everyone, we have a WhatsApp group, where everyone writes and uploads photos. When I watched the show, I took a full Opthalgin (laughs). I'm not pressured by an audience, I don't have stage fright, but apparently something in my body gives me headaches , so before the show everything came back to me, all the excitement, to see it after the editing. I had never seen the show before in my life. I enjoyed every moment there. I didn't care. I wanted them to know me, to see that there are women who get divorced and go through things in their lives and do things In the afterlife, and that you shouldn't be afraid."

Are you not offended by him?

"I really wasn't offended, I think he's a cannon. I was shocked, I said, 'What a genius he is.'"

"Oh, if you write that to him, then it's genius. Everything I say or do, even when I forget, he says a word, it's genius. It fits perfectly. I wasn't offended by anything, on the contrary, I always said that if you're not talked about, you're not The map. You must be talked about and laughed at. I'm used to it. All my life, since I can remember, I would go out as a girl in strange clothes, sew things for myself and for my children special costumes, which always won them first place. I'm not moved by what people say." .

Were you disappointed that you didn't win?

I paid 650 euros for it and decided that I would make this dish in the program.

 In the last episode you told the other participants that you came from a difficult background, but did not expand.

Would you like to share?

"I went through a lot of things. I was in a shelter for battered women with my children, and when I told them this, they were shocked. How can a woman of color like me with strength come to such a situation. I told them that today I want to show all women that there is life after. It takes a lot of strength to stand up legs and say 'from today I only see the light at the end of the tunnel', not to be afraid of anything, get up in the morning and say to yourself 'you are a hero'. Thanks to my children, who constantly told me how strong I am and how much they are my fans, I am alive. In a home that was not easy To grow up in it, I raised them with ten fingers and they received a good education. Today, thank God, I am in a completely different world."
