Google's "doodle" is the variable illustration that appears on the homepage of the leading search engine, and usually incorporates the company's logo/name.

Google makes sure to change and update its doodle almost daily according to important events that occur or are noted in the world on that date, and clicking on it will often bring you to the Wikipedia entry of the object of the illustration.

Today (Tuesday), the daily doodle is dedicated to the French artist Jacqueline Charlotte Diparnois, who was also - and perhaps mainly - known by the nickname "Shemale".

Diparanoia, who was born as a man, was the first trans performer to gain worldwide recognition and success.

She passed away in 2006, but if she were alive today, she would have celebrated her 91st birthday.

Google decided to celebrate her despite everything.

Diprenois was born on August 23, 1931 in Paris, as Jacques Charles Diprenois.

She chose the stage name "Coxinelle" (ladybird beetle in French) when she appeared in drag clubs in the French capital in the early 1950s, and since then the nickname, which represents a fancy and colorful animal, has stuck with her.

However, she underwent her gender reassignment surgery in 1958 in Morocco, and is actually considered the first French woman to undergo this type of surgery.

In the decades that have passed since then, Diparanoia has appeared in some of the well-known clubs and on quite a few of the biggest stages in the world, and in 1964 she even held a short concert tour in Israel.

During her life she was married three times, published an autobiographical book in 2006, and generally served as an inspiration to generations of trans people who came after her.

In fact, the influence of dysparanoia is so great that the word "shemale" is still used today as a term for a trans woman.

Diparanoia stopped performing in 2000, and died in 2006 after suffering a stroke.

In 2016, the municipality of Paris named after her a promenade adjacent to the "Madame Arthur" club, where she began her career, and today, as mentioned, she is also honored in the digital age, with Google's doodle.
