) team must set up their cameras in April 2023 in Angelino Heights, a district of Los Angeles, where the saga has had its habits since the first opus.
Indeed, it is in these historic streets that the house of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Bob's Market are located.
Aficionados of the car chase saga can't wait for the tenth film in the franchise.
But the inhabitants are much less happy about this news.
For them, the arrival of yet another shoot rhymes with stunts, urban rodeos and the sound of engines galore.
And for good reason, as some residents of the neighborhood describe it to

, fans go by car to the emblematic places of the saga in the evening and have fun doing stunts there at high speed, replaying certain scenes from films.
Demonstration against filming
A demonstration is organized Friday August 26 by the inhabitants of Angelino Heights, to protest against the noises and damage caused by the saga.

, the director Louis Leterrier intends in particular to shoot there
"a simulation of the intervention of emergency services, aerial shots, watering of the road and the use of atmospheric smoke,”
according to a memo sent to residents.

In addition to the many urban rodeos, Angelino Heights faces an increase in hit-and-runs and gun threats

If this filming is allowed to continue in Angelino Heights, or any part of it, we will stage a huge protest and invite many reporters and cameras to film us protesting day and night.
" the email.
The event will be supported by two road safety education associations.
Some residents would have received compensation from Universal to cover the inconvenience caused by the filming, explain residents of the district which has become famous in spite of itself.
