The proposed program is particularly varied and interesting, which in addition to presenting a classic such as Boccherini's Quintet N ° 9, "The retreat of Madrid" for guitar and string quartet, and the extraordinary Suite "From Yesterday to Penny Lane", inspired by to some of the greatest hits of the Beatles rearranged in a brilliant way by the Cuban composer Leo Brouwer for Guitar and Strings, he also adds two unreleased songs in the lineup.

The first is a work written and dedicated to Piero Viti by the young Calabrian guitarist-composer, Daniele Fabio, one of the greatest talents of his generation, entitled Karmira, inspired by the ancient name of the Island of Ventotene taken from the Ottoman nautical charts of the ' 500.

The discovery of this name, found by the musician Piero Viti himself on the papers drawn up at the time by the Turkish admiral Piri Re'is for the Sultan of Constantinople Suleiman I, is an absolute novelty, as it had never been previously found in studies. historians concerning the island.

This name inspired the composer Daniele Fabio to write an evocative piece for guitar and string quartet, imbued with Mediterranean references, which, in fact, will be presented in an exclusive preview in the concert program.

Another unpublished work, of equal suggestion, the Fantasia homage to Ludovico Einaudi, "Onde in Divenire", also composed by Daniele Fabio, containing the effective arrangement for guitar and string quartet of two of the greatest hits of the famous pianist composer,

The waves and Becoming.

The entire program, premiered on August 25 in Ventotene, will then be replicated by the same musicians on August 27 in Mantua, as part of the prestigious Mantova Musica Festival, where they will be guests in concert.

The Ventoclassic Classical Music Festival, conceived and directed by guitarist Piero Viti, now in its 18th edition, is organized on the Island of Ventotene by the Accademia Mediterraneo Arte & Musica Association with the patronage and support of the Ventotene Municipal Administration.
