In summary ?
The artistic director of the Italian house wanted to stage the Gucci fall-winter 2022 collection in a totally different universe from the pieces presented during the show, with a decor dotted with multiple nods to the work of the American filmmaker.

Or, this photo where we see a model in a red dress and boxing gloves, from the Adidas x Gucci collaboration, in the famous setting of the Stanley Hotel.
Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Moschino... The Italian house is not the only one to have been inspired by the cinema maestro.
During his autumn-winter 1999 collection, the English designer Alexander McQueen had recreated one of the final scenes of the film
The Shining
, by parading a model in the snow with a Victorian dress.
More recently, it was the artistic director of the Louis Vuitton women's collections, Nicolas Ghesquière, who had worked, also with Milena Canonero, to build his collection with futuristic accents for fall-winter 2020, inspired by the famous
