(ANSA) - ADDIS ABABA, AUG 27 - Unicef today condemned the attack launched yesterday by the Ethiopian air forces against Macallè, the capital of the rebel region of Tigray, stating that an "asylum" was hit and several children were killed they were injured.
This is the first confirmation from an international body that an asylum has been hit, as the rebel authorities in Tigray claimed yesterday.
The Ethiopian government had claimed that these were only "military targets".
