Hair dryer recall: TK Maxx also warns of baby blankets
Earlier this week, TK Maxx had to recall Queenwest baby blankets.
According to the company, threads can come loose at the edges of the blanket.
This can pose a safety risk, especially for small children - there is a risk of constriction, strangulation and suffocation.
Again and again there are recalls in retail, which the Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety warns about.
Consumer advocates also warned against British chocolates from the manufacturer Pimlico Confectioners that they could pose a possible health risk to people with milk allergies.
The chocolates were also sold in TK Maxx stores throughout Germany.
