The Ministry of Education asked its directorates in all governorates to follow up on the work of the duly licensed language laboratories and to determine their working hours, students, curriculum, and the principles of their work mechanism.
The ministry indicated, in a statement that SANA received a copy of, the necessity of following up on the work of these duly licensed laboratories by holding courses to teach foreign languages or educational materials for students of basic and secondary education certificates exclusively, outside official working hours, provided that working hours start from 3 pm until 8 pm.
In its statement, the Ministry stressed the necessity of limiting educational courses in language laboratories to students wishing to take the examination for the two mentioned certificates as a free study and who are entitled to apply for general examinations in the same capacity, indicating that the owner of the laboratory must organize the records required from private educational institutions (financial and administrative) in line with The aforementioned instructions point out that the employment of laboratories is carried out after obtaining the required approvals from the competent authorities, and it is prohibited for workers in the Ministry of Education, including teachers, teachers, administrators, educational mentors and senior specialists, to work in language laboratories.
According to the ministry's statement, it is not permissible to teach any book in these laboratories without its approval, stressing that in the event of violation of these instructions, the laboratories will be closed and the necessary penalties will be taken against them.
