After the serious roller coaster accident in the Legoland amusement park, investigators want to carry out test drives without passengers to find out how the accident could have happened.

The "Feuerdrache" train will remain closed to visitors to the amusement park for the time being.

According to the public prosecutor, experts have inspected the ride several times.

There is no result so far.

On August 11, a train from the “Feuerdrache” roller coaster ran into a train in front of it in the amusement park in Günzburg, Swabia.

31 people were injured, one seriously.

A spokeswoman for the theme park said the coaster would not reopen until investigations were complete.

She has not yet been able to give a specific date.

It is also unclear whether another security check will be ordered after the police investigations in Legoland before the roller coaster goes back into operation.

A decision on this will only be made after the investigations have been completed, said a spokeswoman for the Günzburg city administration.
