Positive for gamescom 2022: Sick people proudly present corona test

Despite the pandemic, gamescom 2022 can again be visited in Cologne.
And it seems that there are also sick people among the gaming fans.

And that, although the gaming fair in Cologne was actually under a lucky star.
Because since the beginning of the pandemic, gamescom has been taking place live in Cologne for the first time.
Of course, the popular event again attracts many gaming fans to the city on the Rhine.
But Corona sufferers are also among the visitors and they proudly flaunt their irresponsible actions.

finally the gates for their visitors again, after the trade fair in Cologne had only taken place digitally for the last two years.
This pleases many gaming fans, some of whom even travel to the video game fair in Germany from other countries.
And despite the still present pandemic, the rush at the ticket offices is great.
As the organizers announced, all tickets for the Saturday of the fair are already sold out.
These are the highlights of gamescom 2022.
With a number of 373,000 visitors, Gamescom 2019 broke its own record.
Even if fewer fans are expected this year and there is loud criticism of gamescom 2022, the risk of infection must be expected at an event of this magnitude.
But nobody would have expected that some of the visitors would accept the infection of their fellow human beings.
On Twitter, however, posts are now piling up that confirm exactly that.

However, it is uncertain whether the authors of the Corona Gamescom tweets were actually present at the fair.
After all, there are always people who use such events as an opportunity to troll on the Internet.
That is, these users intentionally post comments on controversial topics in order to polarize them.
Nevertheless, it is noticeable that the tweets from users on Twitter who state that they are ill at Gamescom 2022 are increasing.
Gamescom 2022: There is no trace of masks among the visitors

However, if you look at pictures of the current gamescom 2022, it quickly becomes apparent that masks are a clear exception at this event.
Only a few visitors to the gaming fair seem to be concerned about a possible risk of infection.
Most of them cavort in the crowds between the stands of the fair without suitable protective measures.
One can only hope that Gamescom 2022 will not become the next superspreader event.
