To surpass themselves and push their limits, some embark on the preparation of a marathon, others tackle records worthy of the greatest.
For Raphaël Laurent, on the other hand, alias Raphiquii on Instagram and TikTok, it is rather a decision taken on a whim and a taste for the unusual that explain how he ended up in a bar in Ath, Belgium, at break the world record for the longest person sitting on a toilet.
And it lasted 138 hours and 30 minutes, or just under six full days.

“I looked on the Internet which record I could beat, explains the young Belgian influencer.
And that's when I saw that a Fleming had set the world record for the longest person sitting on a toilet.
I told myself that this one, there was a way that I try it!
".
Raphaël is therefore the second after Jimmy de Frenne, 48, to have attempted this feat.
Both chose to carry out this challenge in the toilets of a bar.
And to dethrone the one who until now was the one and only to have achieved this performance and beat the record of 120 hours sitting without interruption on the toilet, Raphaël's objective was clear: to last a whole week, that is to say seven days.
His body finally got the better of him after 138 hours and 30 minutes, a little less than 6 days on the latrines.
