The Electoral Office of the Cassation confirmed the objection, which had already been decided in recent days by the judges of the Milanese Court of Appeal, of the lists presented in Lombardy for the elections of 25 September by Marco Cappato's Referendum and Democracy, for the note issue of digital and non-paper signatures, and by Forza Nuova, presented only for the Senate.
The Supreme Court, as far as we know, has confirmed the exclusion of six lists that had appealed after the rejection of the electoral offices of the Milanese Court of Appeal (the one for the Senate was chaired by Domenico Camillo Bonaretti, the one for the Room by Alberto Massimo Vigorelli).
The lists of Orange Vests, the Animalist Movement, the Italian Communist Party, the United Right and the Alternative for Italy-No Green pass were also rejected for various reasons largely related to the collection of signatures.
At the top of the Milanese Court of Appeal, chaired by Giuseppe Ondei, the decisions confirming the rejection of 6 lists have arrived this morning, including those of Cappato and Forza Nuova, and at the moment only two measures are missing, arriving from Cassation in these hours,
on two other 'minor' lists that had appealed.
By tomorrow, again in the Court of Appeal in Milan, the draw for the positions of the symbols on the ballot papers for the Lombard constituencies will be carried out.
Cappato in recent days he had already made it known that he was ready "to appeal in any internal and international judicial center".
The Electoral Office for the Chamber of the Milanese Court of Appeal had technically declared the Referendum and Democracy list to be invalid, because, regardless of the question of digital signatures, the latter, according to the judges, were deposited after the deadline.
In the confirmation measures, as clarified by the leaders of the Milan Court of Appeal,
the Supreme Court pointed out that the deposit of digital and non-paper signatures is not required by the regulations.
Forza Nuova, on the other hand, had argued that it did not need to collect signatures because, the far-right movement explained, it was linked to a component of the European Parliament.
It was not, however, a member of parliament from an Italian seat, but a Greek MEP from the Golden Dawn
