New week and new characters for “Mask Singer”.
After knowing the departures of Marianne James in the skin of a Baby and Frédéric Diefenthal in the costume of Gingerbread, the entertainment of TF 1 welcomed six new candidates this Tuesday evening: a Bride, a Turtle, a Koala, a Genie, a Monkey and a Knight.
Six characters, two of whom have already had to drop the mask, for lack of sufficient votes.
Halfway through the show, the Koala had to reveal his true identity.
To the delight of the investigators since everyone was drying up on the name of this woman, with not very right singing but with overflowing energy: the actress Clotilde Courau?
The reality TV candidate Loana?
Singer Sophie Tapie?
None of that in the end.
To everyone's surprise, under the imposing costume of the animal was actually hiding the tennis champion Marion Bartoli.
“We weren't there at all!
“, was surprised Vitaa discovering the face of the winner of Wimbledon in 2013.

An hour later, the revelation of the second eliminated character was, conversely, nothing of a surprise.
Because at the end of his performance on the hit “Gangnam Style” by Korean singer PSY, the Genie did not manage to contain his joy.
If Kev Adams initially leaned on the comedian Booder, he quickly rallied to Jeff Panacloc and the other investigators on a name: that of Yoann Riou.
The sports columnist, seen in many shows including “Beijing Express” again this summer on M 6, made his joy explode a little too much.
To the point of giving enough clues about his identity, and to turn around at the mention of his first name!
On the other hand, many characters were able to create discord within the jury.
The Bride lost the entire quartet, including a real accent according to the men, played for the women.
Same thing for the Turtle, which some suspected to be Anthony Kavanagh before a second performance.
Ditto for the Cavalier, with a young voice but with older expressions.
On the other hand, everyone agreed on the personality hidden under the Monkey's disguise.
For the investigators, it is Alizée.
To be confirmed next week, with the arrival of a spy but also of a first international celebrity.
