(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 30 - A perturbation of Atlantic origin has reached Italy causing a noticeable deterioration in the regions of the North West.
The bad weather will extend over the next few hours to a large part of the North and part of the Center, with phenomena that locally may be very intense.
This is indicated by a weather warning issued by the Civil Protection Department.
From today afternoon, therefore, thunderstorms over Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Trentino, Alto Adige, Liguria and Emilia-Romagna, extending to Tuscany and Marche.
The phenomena will be accompanied by strong showers, frequent electrical activity, hailstorms and strong gusts of wind.
Yellow alert assessed for tomorrow in Lombardy, Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige, Emilia-Romagna, Marche, part of Tuscany and Liguria and Piedmont.
