(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 30 - 31,088 new infections from Covid have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister.
Yesterday the infected were 8,355.
The victims are 98, up from 60 yesterday.
The swabs made are 208,996.
The rate is 14.9%, up from 13.3% yesterday.
There are 226 patients admitted to intensive care, 3 less than yesterday, in the balance between entries and exits, while the daily entries are 19. On the other hand, hospitalized in the ordinary wards are 5,427, 204 fewer in the last twenty-four hours.
The currently positive are 660,241, compared to yesterday 8,523 less.
21,010,197 (+39.512) have been discharged and healed, while the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 21,845,943, that of deaths is 175,505.
