The Damascus University Council discussed, during its meeting today, the ongoing preparations for receiving applications for general differentiation for university admission for the academic year 2022-2023 in all university centers and branches.
Dr. Muhammad Osama Al-Jabban, President of Damascus University, stressed the need to create the appropriate conditions in the centers designated for differentiation and to mobilize all administrative and technical cadres, and the need for coordination between the departments of faculties, the university presidency, and the National Union of Syrian Students to ensure the optimum conduct of the differentiation work.
The council also decided during the meeting to postpone the start of the supplementary session for students of the graduation years to the eleventh of next September instead of the fourth of it to give sufficient time for students to prepare for the exam.
The President of the University pointed to the efforts made by the faculties in issuing the results of the second semester exams, hoping that the faculties that did not finish issuing their results would speed up work to complete the issuance of results before the date of the supplementary cycle for the graduation years.
On the other hand, the Council approved the provision of transportation lines for faculty members at the university, noting that there is a study to establish additional lines to provide transportation services for students.
The President of the University congratulated Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi for his assignment as Director of the Biotherapeutics Research Center at Damascus University and for joining its council members, wishing him success in his work. university of Damascus.
