Noa Kirel, other writers and creators are expected to participate in a joint writing camp in order to create together the song that the singer will perform at Eurovision 2023.
Throughout the years, the corporation chose the song in the style of "Kol Kora".
Every year, hundreds of songs were submitted to the competition, one of which was chosen by a special committee.
Israel Hayom has learned that following the selection of Kirel, the method is expected to change - and be compatible with the one accepted in other countries, including Sweden, which is considered the queen of the Eurovision Song Contest.

One of those involved told about the process: "The idea is that several writers who know Noa and have worked with her in the past will get together for a few sessions to create the song."
At this point, it has not been decided which creators will participate in the camp, but the estimates are that Doron Medley (who was one of the writers and composers of "Toy" by Netta Barzilai, who won the competition in 2018), Ron Beaton, Nitzan Kaykov and Jordi will participate.
"The ambition is that in the long term, we will succeed in changing the attitude towards Eurovision," said the same source.
"We need to make sure that Noa returns with a performance and a good result, thereby making great singers want to participate in the competition as representatives of Israel in the years to come."
Meanwhile, Kirel arrived yesterday for another meeting at the corporation to discuss her participation in the competition.
