"We heard a voice, it was the upper hand, we didn't realize it immediately. Then we understood, it came from the sea", is the emotion-filled story of the adventure experienced by the group of friends.

"When we realized that there was someone asking for help from the sea, we plumbed the waters. In about 15 minutes we spotted the young man. He was wearing a black life jacket. His voice came closer and closer. Once he was spotted. we threw him a rope to which he attached himself and pulled him aboard ".

The young man was "immediately wrapped in a thermal blanket and Tatiana hugged him to warm him, he was hypothermic but reacted", says Dal Monte Casoni.

First of all "we gave him hot milk and biscuits - explains the captain of the catamaran who filmed the rescue operation - he was exhausted and shortly after, lying in his bunk, he fell asleep".

At that point the commander notified the Greek authorities and in a short time they were joined by a patrol boat that took the castaway on board.

Warned of the two missing, they continued their search.

 "We are still excited, we would never have imagined such a circumstance, but we are happy to have saved him, unfortunately we have not found his teammates".

Of course "we will not forget the eyes of that young man who never stopped thanking us and when he learned that we were Italians he smiled and said" Italy! ". Perhaps he was hoping to be in Italy. comment of those who still do not realize that they have rescued the young man from a sure death.
