People who cannot tolerate fructose or, more commonly, fructose often react with intestinal problems.
But acne can also be the result.
How well or poorly a person reacts to fructose depends on the amount of fructose ingested and the sensitivity of the intestine.
Every body processes fructose differently.
Those who develop symptoms, such as abdominal pain, immediately after eating fructose-containing foods should consider intolerance, especially if the symptoms manifest themselves regularly.
It is not only the intestines that react to fructose with an intolerance.
What many sufferers do not suspect: Skin problems can also be an indication of fructose intolerance.

Regular consumption of fructose via fruit or foods processed with fructose can lead to chronic skin reactions such as redness, inflammation and acne.
At the same time, it has been shown that those affected who do not eat fruit and many types of vegetables due to their fructose intolerance also suffer from skin problems such as eczema and pimples.
The reason for this is often an undersupply of nutrients.
People with skin problems and fructose intolerance should avoid fruit such as pineapple, banana and grapes as well as dried fruit.
Certain other foods also promote acne and also chronic inflammation from diabetes, rheumatism and arthrosis.
