Camila Giorgi takes off the pass for the second round of the US Open, the fourth and last Slam of 2022 on the concrete of Flushing Meadows in New York.
The 30-year-old from Macerata, n.67 WTA, beat Hungarian Anna Bondar, n.55 WTA, in her first participation in a comeback 4-6 6-3 6-1, in just under an hour and three quarters at the US Open.
Wednesday in the second round the blue awaits the winner of the match between the American Madison Keys, n.20 in the ranking and seeding, and the Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, n.86 WTA.
