Energy: Anci and Upi, another 350 million or cuts in services

The president of Anci, Antonio Decaro, and the president of UPI, Michele De Pascale, have returned to press for an urgent intervention to stop the rise in energy prices (ANSA)


  "An extraordinary allocation of at least an additional 350 million euros is needed to offset the surge in our energy costs, otherwise the mayors will be forced to painful cuts in public services to the detriment of citizens, in view of an autumn that is already very promising difficult and worrying ".

"Families and businesses are already suffering the consequences of the continuous increase in energy costs - Decaro and De Pascale said in a joint statement - and we know that the government is developing urgent measures. Meanwhile, government sources report that any new executive intervention against

expensive energy

will not enter the form of an amendment in the bis aid law, now being examined by the Budget and Finance committees of the Senate, but in a

decree

that will have an autonomous life.
