Disguised as baby wipes: the seized cocaine

US Customs and Border Protection officers discovered 695 kilos of cocaine worth $11.8 million in a trailer truck near the Mexico border.
The goods were declared as baby wipes and were to be smuggled into the United States, according to CNN.
Officers seized the narcotics at the Colombia Solidarity Bridge on Friday.
The bridge over the Rio Grande connects the Texan city of Laredo with the Mexican municipality of Nuevo Laredo.
This is according to a press release from the US Border Protection Agency.

The investigators used sniffer dogs during the search on Friday and secured packages of cocaine in 1935.
The seizure is a good example of how border controls can prevent dangerous drugs from entering the country, said Alberto Flores of the US Border Protection Agency.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
