Musetti (# 30) beat the former Belgian top 10 David Goffin (# 62) in a comeback, with a score of 3-6 7-5 6-4 3-6 7-6 (11-9).
A suffered victory also for Fognini (n.60), who got the better of the Russian Aslan Karatsev (n.38) for 1-6 5-7 6-4 6-1 6-4.
Bronzetti (# 59 in the WTA) was forced to retire on a score of 4-6 7-6 5-4 in favor of her opponent, the American Lauren Davis (# 105).
Cocciaretto (n.99) gave 6-2 6-4 to Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich (n.32) instead.
