(ANSA) - VENICE, 03 SEPT - Bernardo Zannoni with his first novel 'My stupid intentions' (Sellerio) triumphed at the 60th edition of the Campiello Prize.
The writer had 101 votes out of the 270 received from the Popular Jury of Trecento LettereAnonyms.
In second place Antonio Pascale with 'The fig leaf.
Stories of trees, women and men '(Einaudi), 54 votes, third Elena Stancanelli with' Il tuffatore '(La nave di Teseo), 46preferences, fourth Fabio Bacà with' Nova '(Adelphi), 43 votes and fifth Daniela Ranieri with 'Updated road map of all my kisses' (Ponte alle Grazie), 31 votes.
"It is my first published work and it has already made a mess.
I did not expect it, I have not even prepared a speech.
Thanks to those who believed in me, I come out of nowhere, I turned the corner just yesterday ", commented Zannoni, 27, on the stage of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. (ANSA).
