The supply of energy from the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant to the area under the control of Kiev has been suspended "for technical reasons".
This was announced by the Ukrainian operator Energodar quoted by Tass.
MOSCOW: UKRAINIAN ASSAULT REJECTED
Moscow "thwarted a new attempted assault by Ukrainian forces against the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant yesterday evening": the defense ministry announced, quoted by Russian agencies.
"At 11pm Moscow time, two groups of boats with a landing force of 250 special forces and foreign mercenaries attempted to infiltrate the coast near ;; Energodar and Dneproprudny," reads a statement. "four Su-30s fighters and two Ka-52 VKS helicopters that destroyed 20 out of 42 boats".
The victims would be "almost 50".
