Isildur was a Numenorean sailor who would become a warrior and king.

He and his brother Anarion founded and ruled Gondor in the south together.

Her father in Arnor, however, lived in the north.

In the War of the Last Alliance, Isildur cut the One Ring from Sauron's hand but refused to destroy it.

Isildur was later killed by orcs and the ring was lost in the Gladden Fields disaster for nearly 2,500 years.

Actor Maxim Baldry made his debut in front of the camera at the age of eleven in a supporting role in the historical series Rome.

In the same year he appeared opposite Rowan Atkinson in the comedy Mr Bean's Holiday.

It was only almost 10 years later that the now 20-year-old took on a role again.
