Assassin's Creed Mirage: Leak has come true – Ubisoft confirms title & protagonist

"Assassin's Creed Mirage": This is the title of the next part.

Ubisoft thus confirms the information recently revealed by a French YouTuber.

Update from September 2, 2022

: After a series of leaks, Ubisoft has now officially announced the next part of the "Assassin's Creed" series: "Assassin's Creed Mirage" is the official title of the game.

More details and possibly a trailer are expected to be presented as part of the Ubisoft Forward live stream on September 10th.

It is to be expected that the further information from the leaks will also come true.

This should be shorter and snappier and return to the origins of the series.

Accordingly, the sneaking should be in the foreground again.

In the last part, "Assassin's Creed Valhalla", players slipped into the role of Eivor and led a Viking horde into large-scale battles.

Fans criticized that this had little to do with the original "Assassin's Creed".

Ubisoft is thus responding to the criticism and will change a lot in the next part.

The French YouTuber "j0nathan" has now revealed more information about the new "Assassin's Creed" in one of his last videos.

He is considered a reliable source.

Next part is called "Assassin's Creed Mirage"

"j0nathan" confirms some information that has been circulating on the internet for a long time.

The protagonist should be Basim - the assassin who already had an appearance in "Valhalla".

The game is set in Baghdad in the 9th century.

The YouTuber also explains that the new part will be launched in spring 2023, between April and June.

Other information from "j0nathan" includes:

• The title of the game will be "Assassin's Creed Mirage".

  Mirage can be translated as Fata Morgana.

• The game is said to be strongly based on the very first "Assassin's Creed".

• Several cities should be exploreable.

• "Assassin's Creed Mirage" therefore dispenses with a dialogue and level system.

• Game character Basim is said to have a dagger on a rope.

• Basim will have visions of Loki.

• Allegedly, Ubisoft is planning a remake of the first "Assassin's Creed".

  "Mirage" should serve as a template.

  In addition, the latter should get a Constantinople DLC.

Noted journalist Jason Schreier, who originated the

report, confirmed that much of this information was correct.

However, according to one of his sources, there won't be multiple cities to explore.

A Ubisoft Forward livestream will take place on Saturday, September 10th, where the first details of the game may be officially revealed.
