Another consequence of this strategic error, the return to the forefront of Mercedes with a second place for Hamilton and a third for Russell in Hungary.
A performance that allows Toto Wolff and Mercedes to return to just 30 points behind Ferrari in the constructor standings.
As for the driver classification, Max Verstappen is heading straight for the double with more than 80 points ahead of Leclerc, second.
