The Canal+ group has decided to bring down a black screen on the channels of the TF1 group (TF1, TMC, LCI, TFX, TF1 Séries Films and the MyTF1 replay service) because the two parties have not reached an agreement on the distribution of these channels to the 5.4 million Canal+ subscribers.
Hitherto discreet in its opposition to the merger project, Canal+ supports where it hurts.
Because this operation, if approved by the Competition Authority, would affect all audiovisual sectors.
