Today, approximately 3651,923 students from various educational levels went to their schools with the start of the 2022-2023 academic year, distributed among 13,660 schools and institutes in all governorates.
Regarding the distribution of these students to the educational levels, Minister of Education Dr. Darem Tabbaa indicated in a previous statement to SANA reporter that the number of Riyadh reached 2332 and accommodated approximately 133,677 boys and girls, and the number of basic education schools was 9147 schools that accommodated approximately 3035882 male and female students, while the number of education schools The General Secondary School, 1629, attracted 371384 male and female students, and the number of vocational secondary education schools was 479, accommodating approximately 83,873 male and female students.
As for the institutes affiliated with the Ministry of Education, Minister Tabaa indicated that their number was 73 and accommodated approximately 27,107 students, while the number of uninvested school buildings reached 8,733, of which 457 were completely damaged, pointing out that work will be done to rehabilitate 400 school buildings during the next year to be invested within the educational process in order to accommodate students and students and reduce the class density and the burdens of access to schools.
