The problem is with the "surrounding".

It is very difficult to forgive the shameful stinginess.

The pita (delicious and high quality in itself) is small and to add insult to injury it is not full to the brim either.

No chips, no salad, but if you want you can add a portion of rice for NIS 15 "only".

In the KMA (quantity-price-quality) index, this dish gets the grade 1, and that's after the quality alone gets 9.5. Now think how much the other parameters got to reach this level.

In fact, while writing I am more and more convinced that Itzik the Great's shawarma was born as a parody of the cost of living in Israel.

After all, if you think about a skit in "Wonderful Land", where they serve shawarma for NIS 62 without fries, without salad (but hey, there is tomato salad), in a small pita that is only 85 percent full, and they ask you for an additional NIS 15 for a side dish , everything will make sense to you.

Whoever charges NIS 62 for a pita with meat puts a finger in the eye to all the talk about the cost of living and jumps, at least in my humble opinion, into too deep water.



It is the right of the great Itzik to be based in the Tel Aviv bubble and charge 62 shekels, even 100 shekels, the right of the audience who hears the word "wagyu" to flock in droves and spend such sums.

Equally, I have the right to warn you against wild exaggeration and dishonesty.
