The Ministers of Health and Research took legal action on Monday in view of a new report on the Marseille IHU, which confirms

"I am very calm."

Still as confident, Didier Raoult spoke on CNews on Tuesday the day after the publication of a new vitriolic report on a series of medical and scientific excesses within the Mediterranean University Hospital Institute infection (IHU-MI) , created in 2011 and directed by Pr Didier Raoult until the end of August.

Justice will investigate the dysfunctions

Unsurprisingly, he swept away all the criticism leveled at him.

“I'm being harassed for saying what everyone is doing now.

(…) They failed to confirm and prove that we were doing fake TB trials and harassing people.

It's gone and now we're told we're not following the rules.

I am very serene, ”he said at the microphone of Jean-Marc Morandini.

“I am very calm, we had 7 inspectors who tried to confirm something that they failed to confirm, that is to say to prove that we were carrying out illegal tests on tuberculosis, and that we harass people”says Didier Raoult pic.twitter.com/C5c0CUm4pi

In this severe report published on Monday, the General Inspectorate of Social Affairs (Igas) and its counterpart for higher education and research (IGESR) point to a series of medical and scientific abuses, but also of management, several of which may "raise of a criminal qualification”.

"I am a victim"

This report “highlights serious dysfunctions” within the Mediterranean Infection University Hospital Institute (IHU-MI), created in 2011 and directed by Professor Didier Raoult until the end of August.

"Several elements" are "likely to constitute offenses or serious breaches of health or research regulations", write the ministers Sylvie Retailleau and François Braun in a joint press release.

They specify that they have seized the Marseille prosecutor's office.

Monday evening, Marseille prosecutor Dominique Laurens told AFP that she had opened a judicial investigation, without further details.

On these accusations of disrespect for the public health code, the professor assures that "the inspectors have interpretations of the law which is theirs".

What about hydroxychloroquine prescriptions when the latter was prohibited?

"Doctors have the freedom to prescribe without marketing authorization, it's very commonplace," he swept away.

“I am writing my autobiography at this very moment,” revealed the scientist.

“I always knew I wanted to be the world's number one.

I am the first quoted in infectious diseases, I knew there was a price to pay.

I am a victim,” he complained.
