Who cooks better men or women?
Our heritage, tradition and palate will tell us that women know how to cook, usually better than men.
And it is so agreed upon, stigmatized and common that the phrase "wife for the kitchen" is considered an insult and belittling.
Even on TV they like to mention the connection we all have to the successful cooking of our mother and grandmother.
"Where does his love for food come from? He would stand and watch you cook?", Miri Bohdana, the mother of a contestant in the season opening episode of "Chef Games", asked yesterday, and there was no doubt that the answer she would receive would be positive.
However, these cooking programs also tell another story at the same time, which they present to the food through tattooed men with sex appeal and hypersensitivity, expressive and grumpy skills, and sometimes a Michelin star on the shoulder.
The chefs on TV not only pass the screen better than women, they apparently cook at a rocket level and should be a role model and inspiration for us.
