(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 07 - An unstable flow, with the center of action on Great Britain, is approaching our country and, in the next few hours, will activate conditions of marked instability in the northern regions.
Showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally of strong intensity, will affect a large part of the North, and, tomorrow, will extend to the central regions, especially those of the Tyrrhenian side.
For this reason, the Civil Protection Department, in agreement with the regions involved, issued a warning of adverse weather conditions: the orange alert on a large part of Veneto and some sectors of Lombardy was assessed for tomorrow.
The notice foresees from today evening scattered to diffuse rainfall, also of a reverse or thunderstorm character, on Valle D'Aosta, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto and on the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano.
From the early hours of tomorrow, Thursday 08 September, scattered rainfall is also expected, with a thunderstorm character, on Friuli Venezia Giulia, Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany and Marche, in extension to Umbria, Lazio and northern Campania.
The phenomena will be accompanied by strong rains, frequent electrical activity, hailstorms and strong gusts of wind.
Also assessed the yellow alert on Trentino Alto Adige, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio, on the remaining territories of Lombardy and Veneto and on some sectors of Valle D'Aosta, Piedmont, Liguria, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise and Campania.
