Cyberpunk 2077: Patch 1.6 finally brings the desired feature – last update for PS4 & Xbox One

CD Projekt RED has announced the Edgerunners update for Cyberpunk 2077.

It is available to players now.

It was quiet for a long time about "Cyberpunk 2077".

As is well known, the ambitious game from CD Projekt RED had a very rocky start due to many bugs and performance problems - especially on older consoles.

The developers have tried to iron this out with updates.

Now the latest patch 1.6 is ready, which brings various innovations.

The update is titled "Edgerunners" to match the Netflix series that is about to launch.

It will feature a range of content inspired by the anime series.

Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.6: All content from the Edgerunners update

• The jacket of the protagonist of the Netflix series "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners", David Martinez, is available in the game, as well as a gun used by another series character.

• Arguably the most exciting feature for players is the introduction of the "transmog" system for clothing.

  This allows players to dress their main character V the way they like while maintaining desired armor stats.

• The arcade machines that are distributed throughout Night City are new.

  On it, players can play the Roach Race mini-game.

  This is also available as an app on Android and iOS devices.

• The patch also adds cross-platform saves.

  This means that the save file can also be loaded and played on the PS5 from the PC, for example.

• The new “REDmod” tool is exciting for PC gamers.

  This is an official tool that can be used to manage and install mods.

  According to the REDmod website, it allows players to add their own sounds, animations, and scripts to the game.

• For the Xbox Series S, "Cyberpunk 2077" has received a new performance mode that runs at 60 frames per second.

In addition, the update brings various new ranged and melee weapons as well as some gameplay improvements.

"Cyberpunk 2077": Patch 1.6 is the last for PS4 and Xbox One

As previously announced, CD Projekt RED is ending support for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077 with Patch 1.6.

Future updates will therefore no longer be available.

The newly announced extension "Phantom Liberty" for "Cyberpunk 2077" will only be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Google Stadia.
