(ANSA) - BRESCIA, 07 SEPT - A fourteen year old died five days after suffering a cardiac arrest while training with the football team for which he wanted to play the new season.
The illness occurred on Friday on the pitch of the Brescia team of the Polisportiva Verolavecchia, in the province of Brescia.
The 14-year-old was in his first rehearsal practice after he quit playing years ago.
This year he wanted to resume, but after a few minutes on the pitch he felt ill.
The first to intervene were the coaches of the boy, then taken to the hospital, where he died.
Just Friday he celebrated his birthday.
