(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 08 - Andrea Bocelli, Matteo Bocelli and lapiccola Virginia will be exceptionally together for the first time in a record with a world release: "A Family Christmas" (Decca / Capitol Records), this is the title of the album that will be released on next October 21 all over the world on occasion of the holiday season and whose trailer is already making the rounds of continents.
The disc will contain some of the most famous Christmas songs and new interpretations of traditional songs, but also two unreleased songs, the first of which, "The Greatest Gift", is available from today, September 8, on all digital platforms.
Here Andrea, Matteo and Virginia sing together for the first time in extraordinary harmony.
The album is also enriched by the international production of composer and Grammy © and Oscar © nominee Stephan Moccio (Celine Dion, The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus, Barbra Streisand), who worked on the new arrangements of the songs and co-wrote "TheGreatest Gift" together with Amy Wadge, Jonas Myrin and AndreaBocelli.
Andrea had already sung individually with Matteo and Virginia, but it is the first time that the three join their voices.
For VirginiaBocelli, 10, this is her first appearance on an album.
Lapiccola had conquered the public in 2020, reaching his father for a thrilling performance of "Hallelujah" during the famous concert "Believe in Christmas", broadcast in livestreaming by the Teatro Regio di Parma.
Matteo Bocelli, 24, is enjoying the start of his solo recording career after signing for Capitol Records in 2019. He became world famous in 2018 after dueling with his father on the hit song "Fall On Me" , featured on Andrea's best-selling album, "Sì", which debuted at number 1 in the US and UK charts.
The video, featuring images of father and son over the years, has now surpassed 100 million diviews.
"I think there is nothing more beautiful than making music with your children; I consider it a privilege," said the tenor.
In "A Family Christmas" the three voices will shine with soloists, duets and in trio.
