Bad news for Gianmarco Pozzecco's Italy at the European Championships.
Croatia beat Ukraine 90-85, finished third in the group and sentenced the Azzurri to fourth mathematical place, net of the now irrelevant result of tonight against Great Britain.
The most likely pairing for the second round is therefore the one against Serbia.
The only possibility to avoid it is the defeat of Nikola Jokic's national team, already beaten by Italy at the pre-Olympic in Belgrade, against Poland: in that case it would be the red and white opponents of the Azzurri.
