Steve Jobs' friends and family have launched the Steve Jobs Archive, the first official online archive dedicated to the founder of Apple who passed away on October 5, 2011. The announcement comes within hours of the 'Far Out' event, with which the Apple has unveiled the new iPhone 14, Apple Watch Series 8 and second generation AirPods Pro.
You can visit the archive at stevejobsarchive.com although at the moment the site is very simple.
At the start, a text that Jobs had sent to himself on September 2, 2010 about his admiration for humanity.
Scrolling down reveals some noteworthy quotes, including the famous 2005 opening speech at Stanford.
Along the way, video and audio clips of the entrepreneur are inserted.
"With respect for the past and enthusiasm for the future,
"What's important is that you have a faith in people, that they're basically good and smart, and if you give them tools, they'll do wonderful things with them." - Steve Jobs, 1994

"We are building programs, scholarships, collections and partnerships that reflect Steve's values and carry forward his sense of possibility."
A statement states that the archive "will act as a repository of historical materials relating to Steve, some of which have never been made public before."
Further announcements on offers and additional projects will be made in the coming months.
The archive was presented by Laurene Powell Jobs, Jobs' widow, at the Vox Media conference.
"Even though we have some artifacts and some real material, the archive is much more about ideas."
According to Powell Jobs, the archive is "rooted in Steve's idea that, outside the natural world, all the systems that govern our lives were built and designed by other humans.
Once you have this intuition, you understand that you, as a human being, can change it, stimulate it, perhaps, question it and lengthen it.
This is how human progress takes place ".
