Matan Belo, the Israeli ninja star, experienced a heart attack last Monday and is now hospitalized in New York, his family reported this evening (Friday) through his Instagram page.
"Recovery is not easy. But there is nothing like Matan in overcoming every difficulty and going through every obstacle. Matan's doctors are among the best in the world and we have no doubt that the fighting spirit that always characterized Matan will serve him so this time as well. As always, he will end up as a winner," the family wrote in a story on the page Instagram.
"We understand the curiosity and appreciate the concern, but please allow us, the family members, privacy and peace of mind to continue to stand by him and help" they requested and claimed that "updates will be provided if necessary in the future. Matan's gymnasium will continue to operate as usual and training will take place as scheduled. We ask all of Matan's loved ones to pray. Hope for the best and send positive energies. He has a big heart and this heart will win."
