TV audiences: France 2 in the lead with its evening dedicated to Elizabeth II

During an evening marked by deprogramming due to the death of the Queen of England, the France 2 channel arrived first.

At the last minute, France 2 turned its program upside down this Thursday evening.

Anne-Sophie Lapix presented a special edition devoted to the disappearance of Elizabeth II instead of the issue of "Special Envoy" devoted to incest.

La Deux attracted 3.4 million viewers and 17% of the public, thus ranking first in terms of audiences for the evening.

TF1 suffered greatly from this news since "Aim for the heart", its new detective series led by Claire Keim, only attracted 2.1 million people (11.3% audience share) whereas the previous week , the first episode had been watched by 4.5 million curious people.

1.2 million people watching football on W9

France 3 also lost some feathers there: the series "Off season" with Marina Hands in the role of a Swiss police captain only brought together 1.9 million people (9.4% market share), against 2.6 million Thursday, September 1 for the first episode.

W9 comes in fourth position with the Nantes-Olympiakos football match in the Europa League: the match was watched by 1.2 million fans (6.5% of the public).

The channel is thus ahead of C8, which took us back to the TV of the 2000s by offering “Only the truth matters.

Our most beautiful stories”, presented by Pascal Bataille and Laurent Fontaine (1.1 million nostalgic viewers and 5.4% audience share).

While, on France 5, the historical-scientific documentary "Marat-Robespierre, the sick of the revolution" attracted 796,000 viewers (3.8% market share), M 6 took the broth with a documentary nevertheless devoted to the Queen of England ("Elizabeth II: singular look(s)"): the channel only reaches 665,000 people (3.6% of the public), much less than its "Nightmare in the kitchen" presented by Philippe Etchebest of September 1, which had attracted 2 million.
