Grandma's tomato salad quickly and inexpensively: you have the ingredients at home

Harvested too many tomatoes at once?
Then prepare this quick tomato salad, which only needs a few ingredients.
Whether you grow it yourself or buy it from the supermarket, tomatoes are one of the most popular vegetables.
However, once harvested or brought home from the store, the red fruits do not keep indefinitely, even if you can extend the shelf life with the right storage.
Grandma's tomato salad: Fast and cheap

In addition to vitamins A, B1, C, E and niacin, tomatoes also contain secondary plant substances.
Lycopene is one of the antioxidants and is considered to prevent cancer.
If you don't always want to eat tomatoes on bread or in spaghetti sauce, you should make a note of this quick tomato salad.
It only needs the following ingredients (for four people):
A kilogram of tomatoes
One onion (white or red)
25 milliliters of white wine vinegar
75 milliliters canola oil or olive oil
mustard, salt, pepper and sugar
Optional: parsley
To prepare, wash the tomatoes, remove the stalks and cut into slices or cubes.
Peel and finely dice the onion and add to the tomatoes.
In a small bowl, mix the vinegar and oil into a dressing and season with a teaspoon of mustard, a pinch each of salt, sugar and pepper.
Mix the dressing into the salad and serve the salad.
You should store the salad in the refrigerator and eat it within a day, otherwise the tomatoes will become mushy.
