BRESSO - A great party: Lorenzo Jovanotti keeps his promise until the last stage, the twenty-first of the Jova Brach Party, at Milan Bresso airport.
There are 60,000 of them jumping compactly for almost ten hours of music of all kinds.
It doesn't really matter that the beach isn't there: under the sun people spread their towels, many are in swimsuits and, sunscreen in hand, they enjoy the end of a still hot summer.
It is like a great illusion.
Jovanotti's 'beach' looks like the bonfire you make as a kid, and this time it's Jovanotti who has the guitar, but also many 'friends'.
Lorenzo takes the stage already at 3 pm with the numerous guests who alternate on the scene: from Tananai to Rkomi, then Ackeejuice Rockers, Baloji, Benny Benassi, Ckrono, Epoque, JP Bimeni & The Black, Belts, Nicol, Shantel and the string quartet Foti.
"We went around the world in search of good music" says the manager, Marco Sorrentino.
In the large 'Woodstock' of the artist, maxi waste islands, a large 'food court', make-up artists ready to create temporary colored tattoos and writings, games and various activities.
Then the traditional 'Beautiful story' chosen for the day: Lorenzo dresses up as 'Mayor of nowhere', white shirt, colorful headband and sailor's hat and reaches Chiara and Vincenzo, with their daughter Beatrice in their arms: "I am always moved to marriages but I'll try to keep my heart steady "says the officiant of this impromptu wedding.
And to the newlyweds he gives a special serenade: 'Chiaro di Luna'.
During the afternoon, Jova runs, jumps, dances, shouts: she is unstoppable until 20.00 when her show begins.
And even here he is not alone: together with him, Gianni Morandi, Elisa, Tommaso Paradiso and Rkomi.
No lineup: Lorenzo decides what will come next.
"Let's keep starting" he often repeats.
He starts from 'A tribe that dances'.
The 1991 song raises the curtain on the concert as if to describe what Jovanotti sees from his 'sailing ship', a stage of lights and colored flags.
And he, the smiling pirate, spares no energy and is ready for four hours of old and new successes.
Forty years after his debut as a DJ in 1982, Jovanotti still shows irrepressible enthusiasm at the console, what he called: "my place".
